Every Friday and Saturday, from April to October the Vatican Museums open their doors after dusk too, from 6:00PM, to allow visitors to enjoy an evocative and unusual nocturnal atmosphere. The most amazing collections of statues, paintings, vases, sarcophagi, bas-reliefs like a real concert of beauty and richest artworks. Reach the top with the famous frescoes of the “Genesis Stories” and the “Universal Judgment” of the Sistine Chapel, a masterwork of the most creative multi-talented artist of renaissance like Michelangelo.
You will meet your guide at 5:30PM in front of Caffe Vaticano at Viale vaticano 100. Your guide will be holding a sign with your name on it.
Your tour is customizable. You can ask your guide to change the itinerary inside the Vatican.
The tour will end at 8:00PM. Your guide will show you where you can take a taxi or Uber back to your hotel.
A dress code is required to enter the Vatican Museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
